I spent all of August getting settled into the new place. Now that I’m settled in I’m hoping to get back into the habit of journaling my hobby efforts. Lately I’ve been puttering around with Python+OpenCV. I mentioned in my last post that I’ve been using it to do time-lapse pics of the birds the visit my feeder. I’ve done all that work using just the netbook’s little screen so development is super irritating. I need to get Numpy and OpenCV working on my big laptop again so I can do the work on something more comfortable.
The problem is that (somehow) I have a 64-bit version of OpenCV installed, but a 32-bit version of Numpy installed. I think the smart thing to do is get Numpy to work in a 64-bit environment.
EDIT: Ok, all I had to do was install it from the .dmg that’s provided from here – http://www.scipy.org/Download
Ok then…? How did it break in the first place?
